Authorities are currently searching for a suspect who is believed to have fatally attacked a fellow inmate at the Savusavu Police Station cell on November 5. Following a court appearance, the suspect was directed to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at St Giles Hospital. However, he managed to escape from the hospital, prompting a police manhunt, as confirmed by police spokesperson Wame Bautolu.
