Salote Waqairatu Waqainabete, the co-owner and managing director of Landscaping Solutions Fiji (LSF), recently spoke at an event hosted by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in honor of International Women’s Day 2025. Founded in 2017, LSF has quickly established itself as a pioneer in sustainable landscaping services, prioritizing eco-friendly practices. However, they succeeded in overcoming these obstacles, receiving vital support from the Fiji Development Bank.
Ms. Waqainabete emphasized the significance of accessible resources, learning opportunities, and community backing in her journey. Through initiatives such as the Fiji Enterprise Engine and the Global Green Growth Institute, LSF has significantly expanded, developing eco-friendly products such as chemical-free compost and serving a substantial client base, including many women, particularly those in the florist business.
