Empowering Women: SPBD Celebrates Milestones and Successes!

The South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) network has celebrated another successful year with its Foundation Day and the 2024 Businesswoman of the Year Awards, boasting over 440 village-based women’s groups and approximately 9,000 members. During the event, President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere commended the organization for achieving a significant milestone of $100 million in loan disbursements this year. He expressed his satisfaction with SPBD’s commitment to empowering its members, particularly women in rural and underserved communities.
