Empowering Women: SPBD Celebrates Milestones and Awards

The South Pacific Business Development (SPBD) network, which consists of over 440 women’s groups and approximately 9,000 members, celebrated its achievements at the SPBD Foundation Day and the Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2024. During the event, President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere praised SPBD for reaching the significant milestone of $100 million in loan disbursements this year. He expressed his satisfaction with SPBD’s dedication to empowering its members, particularly women from rural and underserved communities.
