The Fiji Football Association, in collaboration with the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB), is set to conduct a weeklong grassroots coaching course aimed at promoting women’s football in Fiji.
Timo Jankowski, the Technical Director of Fiji FA, emphasized the significant opportunity for local coaches to learn from KNVB’s esteemed coach education programs. “KNVB is globally recognized for its high-level coach education, and their involvement represents a considerable advancement in developing football in Fiji,” Jankowski stated.
The course is scheduled to take place from October 7 to 11 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba and will train a total of 33 coaches. This group includes 31 Fijians from various backgrounds such as primary school teachers, players, and district coaches, along with two participants from Tuvalu.
