The Amania Women’s Group from Wainibuka, Tailevu, has made significant progress in their entrepreneurial journey. Recently, they made an early morning trip to Suva, setting off at 4 AM to participate in the Christmas Market at the Suva Civic Centre, where they showcased their handmade products alongside 40 other women entrepreneurs.

Eleni Kaloulia, the treasurer of the group, shared that the event marked a significant breakthrough in their quest for financial independence, which initially seemed challenging due to limited ideas and resources.

During the market, the Amania Women’s Group successfully sold a variety of items including mats and shopping chains, garnering several custom orders for additional products.
