Efforts to strengthen local governance in Fiji are underway, with 415 traditional leadership positions already established, while 55 more are still in the process of being appointed. This initiative aims to enhance governance across the community, religious, and national levels.
The announcement was made by Ifereimi Vasu, the Minister for iTaukei Affairs, during a provincial meeting held in Sasa, Macuata last weekend.
