The Ministry of Health and Medical Services recently held its second National Health Executive Committee (NHEC) meeting in Tau Village, located in Wai District, Nadroga. At the meeting, participants focused on reviewing and endorsing various health policies while also mapping out the strategic direction for the upcoming quarter. Minister for Health and Medical Services, Hon. Dr. Atonio Lalabalavu, concluded the meeting by encouraging villagers to embrace healthy lifestyles and utilize the health facilities available to them. To commemorate the gathering, Minister Lalabalavu unveiled a plaque in appreciation of the community’s warm hospitality, followed by traditional ceremonies filled with vibrant singing and dancing.
