The Australian Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) is providing valuable training opportunities in Fiji, helping young people acquire essential skills for their employment and daily lives. Recently, 317 students, comprising 181 females and 137 males, participated in a citizenship ceremony held in Nasinu.

She expressed that the course has been beneficial, emphasizing its commitment to preparing students for work. The training spans 12 weeks, and she highlighted the importance of obtaining relevant skills to enhance job prospects.
Jokapeci is pursuing a career in aged care, aiming to secure employment either overseas or locally amid challenging job market conditions. Despite the difficulties she faces as a single mother, she remains optimistic about continuing her education and acquiring more qualifications that could pave the way for better job opportunities in aged care services.
Similarly, Sainimere Lewetini, also 26 years old and from Naweretu, Nakorotubu in Ra, expressed her excitement about completing a Certificate II in Hospitality. She noted that this opportunity is just the beginning, as she plans to take her training further, aiming for practical experiences in Lautoka.
