Empowering Futures: FENC Fiji and Vuvale Outsourcing Unite for Change

The Foundation for the Education of Needy Children (FENC Fiji) has partnered with Vuvale Outsourcing to enhance their efforts in supporting vulnerable children within the community. This collaboration is focused on building capacity and creating lasting impacts through practical projects, notably the establishment of a new sewing line.

Nirmala Nambiar, Head of Operations at FENC Fiji, shared that this sewing line will provide vulnerable families with crucial sewing skills. Participants will gain the ability to utilize materials and operate sewing machines, empowering them to generate a sustainable income. This initiative is part of FENC Fiji’s dedication to economically empower families and improve their overall quality of life.

Nambiar highlighted the significance of partnerships like this one, stating, “We look at such partners to reach out to the community, and this has been one of those opportunities where a huge company like Vuvale Outsourcing has recognized FENC Fiji and worked with us.”

The partnership is expected to expand its support to a wider range of communities, enabling more individuals and families to acquire valuable skills and new opportunities. This proactive approach from both organizations reflects a positive trend in community involvement and empowerment.

In addition to this initiative, Vuvale Outsourcing has previously contributed by donating $1.5 million worth of children’s clothing to schools, reinforcing a message of hope and resilience in Fiji. The ongoing collaborative efforts of both FENC Fiji and Vuvale Outsourcing demonstrate a shared commitment to improving the lives of children and families in the region.

This initiative marks a promising step toward creating sustainable pathways for families in Fiji, an essential endeavor given the increasing challenges many face in the community.
