Empowering Fiji’s Future: PM Rabuka’s Message to Students

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has urged students at Fiji National University to equip themselves with quality education to adapt to societal changes and achieve success.

During his visit to the FNU Nasinu Campus, Rabuka highlighted the significance of education in shaping the future for the youth. He encouraged the students, stating, “You are in an institution of learning; you are being taught by people who have gone through this process. Change is natural. There is always a path to recovery; do not give up, keep going and graduate.”

He further motivated them by saying, “Keep going, you can do it, the sky is not the limit for you but heaven is.”

Vice Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba reinforced FNU’s dedication to enhancing higher education in Fiji. She assured the Prime Minister that the university would align its goals with the vision of the Fijian Government.

“We promise that FNU will move with you and carve a future in the Fijian Government’s vision. At FNU, we will focus on the Fiji Government’s National Development Plan,” Professor Baba communicated to the Prime Minister.

“FNU understands the horizon the government is taking, and it will take the same horizon.”
