“Empowering Fiji’s Future: PM Rabuka’s Call to Students”

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka urged students at Fiji National University to equip themselves with quality education to adapt to social changes and attain success in their lives.

During his visit to the FNU Nasinu Campus, Rabuka underscored the vital role of education in shaping the future of the youth. He encouraged students, stating, “You are in an institution of learning; you are being taught by people who have gone through this process. Change is natural. There is always a path to recovery; do not give up, keep going and graduate.”

He added, “Keep going, you can do it, the sky is not the limit for you but heaven is.”

Vice Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba reiterated FNU’s dedication to enhancing higher education in Fiji. “We promise that FNU will move with you and carve a future in the Fijian Government’s vision. At FNU, we will focus on the Fiji Government’s National Development Plan,” she stated to the Prime Minister.

Professor Nabobo-Baba emphasized that FNU understands the direction the government is taking and will align with that vision.
