Empowering Fiji’s Future: PM Rabuka’s Call for Quality Education

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has urged students at the Fiji National University to pursue high-quality education to adapt to societal changes and succeed in their lives.

During his visit to the FNU Nasinu Campus, Rabuka highlighted education’s crucial role in shaping the future of the younger generation.

“You are in an institution of learning, taught by individuals who have experienced this journey. Change is a part of life. There is always an opportunity for recovery; do not give up, keep striving, and graduate,” PM Rabuka advised the students.

“Continue to push forward; you can achieve your goals. The sky is not the limit for you, but heaven is.”

The Prime Minister received a warm welcome through a traditional ceremony from the university staff, followed by a presentation led by Vice Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba.

In expressing the university’s gratitude, Professor Baba reiterated FNU’s commitment to promoting higher education in Fiji.

“We promise that FNU will support you and contribute to the Fijian Government’s vision for the future. At FNU, we align our focus with the Fiji Government’s National Development Plan,” Professor Baba stated to the Prime Minister.

“FNU recognizes the direction the Government is taking and will follow that same path.”
