“Empowering Fiji’s Future: PM Rabuka Inspires Students to Chase Education and Success”

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka urged students at Fiji National University to equip themselves with a quality education to adapt to societal changes and succeed in life. During his visit to the FNU Nasinu Campus, Rabuka highlighted the critical role of education in shaping the future of young people.

“You are in an institution of learning, guided by those who have experienced this journey. Change is inevitable. There is always a path to recovery; do not lose hope, continue striving, and aim to graduate,” PM Rabuka stated. He encouraged the students further, stating, “Keep pushing forward, you can achieve great things; the sky is not the limit for you, but heaven is.”

The Prime Minister was welcomed with a traditional ceremony by university staff, followed by a presentation led by Vice Chancellor Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba. In expressing the university’s gratitude, Professor Baba affirmed FNU’s dedication to enhancing higher education in Fiji.

“We promise that FNU will work alongside you to shape a future aligned with the Fijian Government’s vision. At FNU, we are committed to supporting the Fiji Government’s National Development Plan,” Professor Baba shared with the Prime Minister. “FNU recognizes the direction the Government is pursuing and is committed to aligning with that vision.”
