“Empowering Fiji’s Future: MP Commends Commitment to Free Education”

Independent Member of Parliament, Ratu Josaia Niudamu, highlighted the government’s steadfast dedication to education as a key factor in Fiji’s future success during the National Budget debate this week.

Mr. Niudamu commended the ongoing provision of free education, emphasizing its crucial role in building a prosperous nation.

“If Fiji is to be successful, we need to educate our young ones. This budget ensures that will continue,” he stated.

He noted that despite economic challenges, the budget prioritizes the education of future generations, making sure that all children in Fiji continue to receive free education.

He also urged parents to actively engage in their children’s moral and ethical development.

“Learning starts at home by ensuring our children grow up as good human beings. Parents, please talk to your children.”

Mr. Niudamu underscored the importance of instilling values and guiding children to become responsible citizens beyond their academic achievements.

“Watch over them, give them guidance, and help them to become better citizens of Fiji.”
