Twelve entrepreneurs celebrated their graduation from the Fiji Enterprise Engine (FEE) program in Suva on Wednesday, marking a significant milestone for the initiative. This group represents the sixth cohort of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to benefit from this private sector-led business accelerator program.

During the ceremony, Filimoni Vosarogo, Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources, emphasized the dedication and perseverance required for completing the program. He noted that the graduates have unlocked extensive opportunities for their businesses, indicating a promising future for the participating MSMEs.

Edward Bernard, CEO of the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF), commended the MSME owners for their commitment over the six-month duration of the program. He highlighted that graduates gained valuable tools and insights to elevate their business capabilities. Bernard also pointed out the successful implementation of the Entrepreneurial Business System in collaboration with Hummingbird, marking a notable achievement as the first cohort to experience this initiative.

Overall, the FEE program has now supported the development of 88 businesses, as the latest graduates add to the roster of successful alumni. The support from FCEF has been instrumental in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit and enhancing business growth within Fiji.

This graduation event signifies not only individual successes but also the collective progress of the local business community, showcasing the potential of MSMEs to contribute significantly to the economy. As these graduates forge ahead, their journeys may inspire others to pursue entrepreneurship, fueling innovation and growth in Fiji’s business landscape.
