Fiji is set to welcome an exciting new artist, Criimson, an emerging talent from Timor-Leste, who will perform at the Bounty Stir It Up Music Festival later this month. Known for his captivating voice and heartfelt lyrics, Criimson is making a name for himself in the pop, R&B, and contemporary Timorese music scene.
Born and raised in Timor-Leste, Criimson began his musical journey at a young age. He gained recognition at just 19 years old as a member of the boy band All About Life, where he quickly won over audiences with his vibrant performances. According to events coordinator Onisimo Moi Vatuwaqa, this experience allowed him to refine his skills and successfully transition into a solo career that blends contemporary sounds with traditional Timorese elements.
Criimson’s music deeply resonates with listeners as it explores themes of love, identity, and cultural heritage. His diverse portfolio consists of original compositions and collaborations with well-known Timorese artists, earning him accolades in national music awards and establishing him as a prominent songwriter.
Beyond his musical talents, Criimson serves as a cultural ambassador, celebrating the richness of Timorese music and motivating fellow artists to succeed. His upcoming performance at the Stir It Up Music Festival on September 28 at the Vou Hub on Denarau Rd promises to be an unforgettable experience that highlights his cultural roots fused with modern sounds.
The festival will begin at the VOU Hub, with VIP access starting at 2 PM and general admission at 4 PM, running until midnight.
