Food rations provided by the government are set to begin distribution as early as tomorrow in the Western Division for those residing in evacuation centers. Currently, four Evacuation Centres are operational, supporting 61 households and 234 individuals.
The established Evacuation Centres include Andrews Primary School, Saioni Church, Korovuto Secondary School, and the Vou Dance Group Office. These locations have been receiving generous donations of cooked meals and hygiene kits from various faith-based organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the Ministry of Health.
Additionally, the Fiji Red Cross has supplied dignity kits to the Saioni and Korovuto Secondary Evacuation Centres, further assisting those in need. Public advisories have been released as precautionary measures, highlighting the importance of preparedness and the avoidance of unnecessary risks.

A Flood Warning remains in effect for regions at risk of flooding along the Ba, Nasivi (Tavua), Nakauvadra (Rakiraki), and Nadi Rivers. A Flood Alert is also in place for areas adjacent to and downstream of all major rivers across Fiji.
