Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has shared a heartfelt Christmas message to the nation, emphasizing that the festive season is a time for joy, reflection, and renewal. He highlighted the boundless love and hope introduced into the world through the birth of Christ.
In his message, Rabuka pointed out that Christmas serves as an opportunity for individuals to assess their shared journey and look ahead with renewed unity and purpose. He noted that this Christmas marks a significant milestone— the halfway point of the People’s Coalition Government’s term. Leading The People’s Alliance, which is the majority partner in the coalition, has been a profound responsibility for him.
Reflecting on the journey even in the face of challenges, Rabuka compared the complexities of leading a coalition government to the obstacles faced by the three wise men as they sought out the newborn King. He underscored the importance of patience, collaboration, and faith in pursuing meaningful change.
