Police are looking into the death of an elderly woman found along the Nasese foreshore on Wednesday. A passerby discovered the woman, believed to be in her 70s, with torn clothing. Authorities from the Muanikau Police Post responded to the scene and transported her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro confirmed the investigation, stating that they are awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination scheduled to take place soon. The woman, a resident of Kinoya, received final rites yesterday.
