Energy Fiji Limited (EFL) has scheduled a power shutdown for today, November 25, to perform necessary maintenance on the power lines. The shutdown is contingent on weather conditions.
In Labasa, power will be unavailable from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, impacting areas including Naduna, Nagigi No.11, Nagigi Primary School, Waigele Airport Road from Wailevu Village Junction to Wailevu Solove Junction, Wailevu Solove, Gopis Minimart, and Diagnostic and Specialist Medical Wailevu Centre, among others.
The Nasese region will experience outages from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, affecting the entire Domain Road, Allardyce Road, Jackson Street, Mahatey Drive, Barton Place, Imthurn Road, Seymour Drive, O’Brien Road, and key locations like the Pacific Islands Development Forum and Walesi Head Office.
In Savusavu, residents in areas such as Nacekoro and Tavulomo will be without power from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Meanwhile, in Nadi, the power outage is set from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM for neighborhoods including Nawaka, Nawaka Village, and parts of Kerebula, among others.
