Fiji Bati emerging talent Kitione Kautoga has officially signed with the Parramatta Eels for the 2025 season. After making his mark with two NRL appearances last season for the Bulldogs, Kautoga will join the Eels on a development contract and be included in the Top 30 squad.

Mark O’Neill, the Eels’ General Manager of Football, highlighted Kautoga’s potential, expressing optimism about his contributions to the team. “We are thrilled to welcome Kitione to the Parramatta Eels,” he stated. “He is an exciting young talent who has already experienced NRL gameplay, and we believe he will be a valuable addition to our lineup.”

O’Neill further emphasized that Kautoga’s integration into the team’s preseason training will be pivotal for his adaptation and relationship-building with his teammates. “Under the guidance of our coaching staff, we are confident that he will continue to develop and excel,” he added.

Earlier this year, Kautoga made his international debut for Fiji during the Pacific Championships. He has already begun training with the Eels and participated in the recent Members open session held at Granville Park.

This signing not only represents a significant opportunity for Kautoga but also for the Eels as they look to strengthen their squad with bright, young talent. As he embarks on this new journey, fans can look forward to witnessing his growth and impact on the field in the coming seasons.
