The Permanent Secretary for Education, Selina Kuruleca, has been assigned the role of Permanent Secretary for Justice, starting next Tuesday. Ratu Meli Nacuva, currently the Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports, will take on the responsibilities of acting Permanent Secretary for Education.
Public Service Commission Chair Luke Rokovada expressed gratitude to Kuruleca for her commitment to maintaining high standards in education and enhancing quality and equity. He is confident that her new position will utilize her skills and experience effectively.
Rokovada noted that Nacuva possesses significant background in public administration, education policy, and training and development, which will be essential for the Ministry’s initiatives aimed at improving the quality and accessibility of education for all citizens.
