ECOTRAX has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the Nadroga Netball Association by sponsoring them for a third consecutive year, contributing $2,000 for the upcoming 2026 season. This sponsorship allows Nadroga Netball to compete under the banner of Ecotrax Nadroga Netball during the season.
Judy Kumar, the association’s president, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Ecotrax owner Mandy Devries for her unwavering support. “A very big Vinaka Vakalevu to Ms. Mandy for your commitment to the growth of netball in our beloved province. Your generosity helps us nurture talent and strengthen our community through the love of the game,” Kumar shared.
The Nadroga Netball Knockout is set to take place at Lawaqa Park on May 9, featuring competitions across various categories including U12, U15, U18, Open grade, men’s teams, and participation from ten business houses.
Kumar also extended thanks to Salad Bowl Travel Tours, which has contributed by covering 50 percent of the venue hire costs. “We sincerely thank them for their support and everything they do for Nadroga Netball,” she added.
This partnership and community engagement highlights the positive impact of local businesses in enhancing sports and fostering talent in their respective regions. With such support, the future of netball in Nadroga looks promising, aiming to inspire young athletes and bring the community together through the sport.
