Scotland Women’s Head Coach Bryan Easson has implemented eight changes and one positional adjustment in the starting lineup for their final Vodafone Series match against Fijiana on Sunday.
Anne Young and Elliann Clarke are set to make their debut starts for Scotland at loosehead and tighthead prop, respectively, with Lana Skeldon remaining as hooker. Louise McMillan partners with Sarah Bonar in the second row.
Captain Rachel Malcolm leads a revamped back row alongside Rachel McLachlan, while Jade Konkel returns to her traditional position at number eight.
In the backline, Meryl Smith transitions from center to stand-off, creating a half-back duo with Caity Mattinson, who returns from a serious neck injury sustained during the Guinness Six Nations earlier this year.
Lisa Thomson, fresh from her Olympic experience with GB Sevens, rejoins the starting XV at inside center after missing last weekend’s victory over Wales. Emma Orr retains her position at outside center.
The back three features Coreen Grant, Chloe Rollie, who scored twice against Wales, and Rhona Lloyd, another player with Sevens experience.
On the bench, forwards Elis Martin, Lisa Cockburn, Christine Belisle, Eva Donaldson, and Evie Gallagher are prepared to contribute, while backs replacements include Leia Brebner-Holden and the impressive Lucia Scott, along with Helen Nelson, who offers experience and stability.
The match will be broadcast live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app in the UK, as well as on the Scottish Rugby website for international viewers.
