Moana’s day begins early, with her in classes and clinical rounds by 6 AM, followed by late-night study sessions. She is no stranger to competitive basketball, having represented Fiji in several tournaments since she was 15 years old, including the FIBA U15 Oceania Championships and the FIBA U16 Asian Championship. However, this will be her first experience at the Pacific Mini Games, and she is eager to make a significant impact.
As she prepares for the games, Moana expresses gratitude for the support from Basketball Fiji and her coach as she and her team work on their fitness and offensive plays. The dynamics of the team are shifting as they welcome a new player, Makaefa, and they are collaborating to integrate her into their strategies.
