Two individuals arriving in a shipping vessel this morning are currently in police custody after being found with illegal drugs. The Fiji Police Force, alongside the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU), performed a search operation at Port Mua-i-Walu.
During the search, a 39-year-old farmer was discovered to be in possession of dried leaves suspected to be marijuana. In addition, a 26-year-old unemployed man was also found with similar dried leaves in his belongings. Both men are now being held as investigations are ongoing.
