Drug Bust at Fiji Port: Two Men in Custody

Two individuals who arrived in a shipping vessel today are currently in police custody for possessing illegal drugs. The Fiji Police Force, in collaboration with the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU), conducted a search operation at Port Mua-i-Walu this morning.

During the search, a 39-year-old farmer was found with branches of dried leaves believed to be marijuana. Additionally, a 26-year-old unemployed man was discovered with similar dried leaves in his possession. Both men are now being held as investigations into the matter continue.
