Jackson has strategically revamped the starting lineup, particularly in the forward pack. The front row will see Haereiti Hetet and Mesake Doge taking up the prop positions, with Zuriel Togiatama at hooker. Key support will come from locks Mesake Vocevoce and Isoa Nasilasila, along with flankers Etonia Waqa and Kitione Salawa, while Meli Derenalagi will play at number eight.

In the backline, co-captain Frank Lomani will assume the halfback role, linking with flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula. The wings will feature experienced players like Ponipate Loganimasi and newcomer Selestiono Ravutaumada, who will make his season debut. Center partnerships include Inia Tabuavou with Tuidraki Samusamuvodre, and Vuate Karawalevu will take the reins at fullback.

The bench is bolstered by Tevita Ikanivere, Emosi Tuqiri, Elia Canakaivata, and Peni Ravai supporting the forwards, while the back reserves include Taniela Rokuro, Motikiai Murray, Simione Kuruvoli, and Isikeli Rabitu.

Reflecting on previous games, Jackson noted the crucial role local support plays in motivating the team, especially following close defeats against the Brumbies, Hurricanes, and Waratahs. He expressed optimism that the passionate home crowd will invigorate his players and help them secure their first victory of the Super Rugby Pacific season.

This upcoming match not only carries significant weight for the team’s standings in the league but also presents an opportunity to bolster confidence and unite fans and players alike. With a blend of seasoned veterans and promising talents in the squad, the Drua are eager to transform recent challenges into a strong home performance, showcasing their fortitude and commitment.
