Joseva Tamani is set to make his highly anticipated comeback for the Fijian Drua as they prepare to face the ACT Brumbies in their 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season opener this Saturday. Tamani, who has not played since 2023, will bolster the back row alongside Kitione Salawa and Elia Canakaivata, bringing valuable experience to the team.

In addition to Tamani’s return, head coach Glen Jackson has named two new wingers, Ponipate Loganimasi and Vuate Karawalevu, who are set to make their debuts. Young flanker Isoa Tuwai will also start on the bench, adding depth to the squad.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 3:35 pm at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, and fans are eager to see how the Drua will perform with these exciting changes in the lineup.

This return of key players and the introduction of fresh talent present a promising outlook for the Drua as they embark on their new season, aiming for both excitement and success on the field.
