Fijian Drua’s center Waqa Nalaga will not be replaced following his excommunication from the team. This decision was confirmed by Head Coach Glen Jackson, who emphasized that the squad currently has ample talent and versatility within its midfield options.

Jackson expressed confidence in the existing players, stating, “We are pretty happy with our midfield. We have got enough cover there.” He highlighted the positive development of their centers and reassured that the team’s structure remains intact despite Nalaga’s departure.

Nalaga was officially released from the Drua on Monday, and as the team moves forward, Jackson is focused on utilizing the strengths of the current roster without seeking a new recruit at this time.

This move reflects the team’s confidence in its depth and ability to adapt, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering internal growth and resilience. The decision not to seek immediate replacements can also be interpreted as a strategic approach towards developing existing players, which could lead to a more cohesive team dynamic in the long run.
