The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has officially bid farewell to three players who are embarking on new overseas opportunities. Centre Apisalome Vota, prop Jone Koroiduadua, and second-five Michael Naitokani will not be participating in the upcoming 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Both Vota and Koroiduadua are considered original players of the Drua, with Vota having made 25 appearances and Koroiduadua 20 during their time with the club. Naitokani, who joined the Drua in 2023, contributed 11 appearances.

Coach Glen Jackson expressed his gratitude towards the three players for their significant contributions to the team, wishing them success as they move forward in their careers.

This transition, while bittersweet for the Drua team and fans, can be viewed as an opportunity for new talents to step up and shine in the 2025 season. The exit of these players opens the door for fresh faces and potential stars that could create a revitalized energy within the squad. As the Drua prepares for the future, it remains hopeful for a strong lineup that can build on the foundations laid by these departing players.
