The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has bid farewell to three players who have signed contracts to play overseas. Centre Apisalome Vota, prop Jone Koroiduadua, and second-five Michael Naitokani will not participate in the upcoming 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Vota and Koroiduadua are both original members of the Drua, having made 25 and 20 appearances for the club, respectively. Naitokani joined the team in 2023 and has played 11 matches since his arrival.

Coach Glen Jackson expressed gratitude for the contributions these players made to the club. He wished them all the best in their future endeavors, acknowledging the impact they had during their time with the Drua.

As the team prepares for the next season, this transition could pave the way for new talent to emerge and for current players to step up. It’s an opportunity for growth as the Drua continues to build a competitive squad for future challenges.

In summary, while the departure of these players marks the end of an era for the Drua, it also opens doors for fresh talent and the potential for even greater accomplishments in the future.
