The Fijian Drua are shifting their focus to the upcoming match against Moana Pasifika after their recent victory over the Waratahs. Co-captain Mesulame Dolokoto emphasized that the team is not dwelling on their 28-14 win in Lautoka, but rather preparing for the challenges ahead. With five rounds remaining and both the Drua and Moana currently at the bottom of the table, there remains a possibility for either team to break into the top six and pursue playoff aspirations.

Dolokoto expressed confidence in his team’s strategy, stating, “We know we’ve got to execute successfully. Whether it be three, five or seven, we’ve got to come back with points whenever we enter their 22.” He acknowledged that while the team was pleased with their victory, there were missed opportunities to extend their lead.

The match against Moana Pasifika is scheduled for Saturday at 4:35 PM and will be broadcast live on FBC Sports. This contest not only presents a chance for the Drua to claw their way up the standings but also represents building momentum and morale for the remainder of the season.

In light of their previous performances and the current standings, both Dolokoto and coach Glen Jackson remain optimistic that with continued effort, improvement, and the backing of their fans, the Fijian Drua can still vie for a place in the playoffs and turn their season around.

The spirit of determination evident in the Fijian rugby team serves as an inspiring reminder of their potential, encouraging both players and fans as they look to create a positive shift in their campaign.
