The Fijian Drua has officially recruited national Under-20 players Breyton Legge and John Muller for its Development program for the 2025 season.
Breyton Legge, a loosehead prop, has played nine matches for Fiji’s Under-20 team since 2022, recently showcasing his skills at the U20 World Rugby Championship in South Africa. Meanwhile, John Muller, who served as captain of Northland’s provincial team this season, represented Fiji in the 2021 U20 World Cup and contributed to the Fiji Warriors’ victory in the Pacific Rugby Cup in 2023.
Ifereimi Rawaqa, the Fijian Drua Development and Skills Coach, expressed enthusiasm about the addition of the two players, stating, “Legge is a skilled player and quick learner. Muller is a hardworking player and brings aggression in both attack and defence. With more professional development through Drua, I am confident the boys will make significant progress.”
The Drua’s Development program has a history of nurturing talent, having successfully advanced players such as Livai Natave, Philip Baselala, Taniela Rakuro, Motikiai Murray, Mesake Vocevoce, and Sikeli Rabitu into Super Rugby Pacific contracts.
