Fijian Drua head coach Glen Jackson has announced that there will be no replacement for the excommunicated center Waqa Nalaga. Jackson emphasized that the team is satisfied with their existing midfield options and believes they have ample coverage in this area.

“We are pretty happy with our midfield,” Jackson stated, highlighting the team’s confidence in their current players. He further noted, “We are very fortunate regarding the development of our centres. We had a solid number in terms of Super Rugby squads, so with Nalaga leaving, we will not be seeking a replacement at this time.”

Nalaga’s departure from the Drua was confirmed earlier this week.

This decision showcases the team’s faith in their existing talent and development processes, which may contribute positively to team cohesion and performance moving forward. Adapting to such changes can often lead to the emergence of new talents from within the squad.
