The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua has bid farewell to three players who are leaving to pursue contracts overseas. Centre Apisalome Vota, prop Jone Koroiduadua, and second-five Michael Naitokani will not join the team for the upcoming 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Both Vota and Koroiduadua have been key players for the Drua, making 25 and 20 appearances for the club respectively, while Naitokani, who joined in 2023, has played in 11 matches.

Coach Glen Jackson expressed gratitude for the contributions made by the departing players, acknowledging their roles in the team’s development and wishing them success in their future endeavors.

This transition, while bittersweet, opens doors for new talent to emerge within the Drua, potentially strengthening the team for the upcoming season. The players’ legacy will likely inspire both current and future teammates as the club continues to build on its competitive journey.

In summary, the Drua is set to embrace change with the departure of these players, which could lead to new opportunities and growth for the team in the long run.
