The Fijian Drua has unveiled an exciting partnership with Carve, a prominent Australian sunglasses brand. This collaboration builds on the Drua’s existing relationship with Jack’s of Fiji, who will provide top-tier Carve sunglasses to all players and staff for the upcoming 2025 Shop n Save Super Rugby Pacific season.
Shane Hussein, the General Manager Commercial of Fijian Drua, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, noting that it will enhance the team’s presence while providing effective protection against the harsh western sun. He emphasized that both the men’s and women’s teams will benefit from the stylish yet functional eyewear during training sessions and community engagements.
Matt Whyte, the International Director of White Room, also shared his excitement over the new sponsorship. Having visited Fiji numerous times, he considers the country a second home and views this partnership as a way to give back to the wonderful community that has welcomed him over the years.
Nikul Khatri, Director of Jack’s of Fiji, reiterated the significance of this collaboration, stating that as the official distributors of Carve Sunglasses in Fiji, they are thrilled to see Carve become the official sunglasses sponsor for the Drua Rugby Team. He highlighted Carve’s reputation for quality and affordability, aligning perfectly with the Drua brand both locally and internationally.
This partnership not only strengthens the Drua’s brand but also enhances community ties and provides high-quality products to players and supporters alike.
The collaboration is a promising development for the Fijian Drua, reinforcing their commitment to quality and community engagement while showcasing Fijian and Australian connections in the sporting world.
