Driver Arrested for Drug Possession: Shocking Discovery at Kinoya Restaurant

A driver was arrested last night after being found in possession of illegal drugs. The incident occurred when the driver and three passengers were parked at a restaurant in Kinoya and were approached by police officers.

Law enforcement utilized a K-9 from the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU), which alerted them to the presence of illicit substances in the vehicle. Upon conducting a thorough search, officers discovered three clear zip-lock bags containing a white substance believed to be methamphetamine, located under the car’s doormat on the left side of the back seat.

The driver remains in police custody as the investigation is ongoing, highlighting the diligent work of law enforcement in combating drug-related offenses.
