Driver Arrested for Drug Possession Amid Restaurant Stop

Police approached the vehicle, prompting the deployment of a K-9 unit from the Fiji Dog Detector Unit (FDDU) to conduct a search.

During the search, the K-9 indicated the presence of illicit substances, leading to the discovery of three clear zip-lock bags that contained a white powder suspected to be methamphetamine. The bags were hidden under the car’s doormat on the left side of the back seat.
