The McDonald’s Fiji Coral Coast 7s Youth Division has unveiled its draws, igniting excitement for the upcoming tournament set to take place next month. This year’s competition will feature 16 elite teams from Fiji, Australia, and Japan, promising an exhilarating showcase of talent and athleticism along the Coral Coast.
Renowned for its ability to spotlight emerging talent, the Youth Division provides young rugby players with invaluable experience against top-tier domestic and international teams. The format of the tournament is expected to deliver a thrilling blend of speed, physicality, and dynamic play, often leading to the identification of future provincial and national stars.
The official pool draw has divided the teams into four competitive groups. In Pool YA, the matchups include Southland Broncos, Sydney Bula, Taveuni Grassroots Fiji, and JVJQ Brothers. Pool YB features Dominion Brothers, Sunnybank Dragons, Aqua Pro Savuiqali, and Tubarua. Meanwhile, Pool YC boasts U18 Japan SDS, Village Boys U20s, TEMC Birdland Brothers, and Shogun Fiji Highlanders. Lastly, Pool YD comprises Serevi Select Youth 7s, Bilo Bar Aflame Brothers, DAG QVSOB, and St Theresa Nukubalavu Savusavu.
