A southern derby in the Digicel Fiji Premier League saw Navua and Suva conclude their Round 15 match with a 2-2 draw at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.
Navua opened the scoring with a free-kick from Kolinio Sivoki that took a deflection off a Suva defender and found its way into the net. Despite this early setback, Suva remained resilient, with Solomon Islander Gagame Feni displaying his skill by scoring two goals, putting Suva ahead 2-1 at halftime.
In the second half, veteran Simione Damuni equalized for Navua with an impressive finish midway through the half.
The draw did not alter the standings for either team. Navua, under Flowserve Engineering & Pump Supplies, stays in sixth place with 20 points, while Flick Hygiene Suva holds the seventh position with 16 points.
