Dramatic Draw: Ba and Navua Lockhorns in Thrilling Standoff

Ba rallied back twice to secure a 2-2 draw against Navua in Round 13 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour on Saturday.

Simione Damuni put Navua ahead early in the match, but young talent Penaia Nagatalevu quickly equalized. Midfielder Rahul Krishna then restored Navua’s lead in the first half. However, a penalty taken by Mohammed Raheem allowed Ba to level the match once more just before halftime.

No goals were scored in the second half, but tensions rose, leading to Ba losing players Rahul Naresh and Ilaisa Nayasi to red cards. As a result, Rooster Chicken Ba dropped to fifth place in the standings with 19 points, while Flowserve Engineering & Pump Supplies Navua remained in sixth with 18 points.
