Cook Islands have rallied to secure a memorable 3-1 victory over Vanuatu, boosting their chances of reaching the OFC U-16 Men’s Championship semi-finals in Tahiti.

New Zealand has already secured a spot in the semi-finals, leaving Fiji, Cook Islands, and Vanuatu to vie for the remaining place in the last four during the final Group A match day. On this crucial day, New Zealand will face Cook Islands, while Fiji will take on Vanuatu.

Vanuatu opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a goal from Jefpta Taravaki, assisted by a cross from James Tanga.
