The Public Service Commission has officially appointed Dr. Raijeli Taga as the Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, following her role as the former Permanent Secretary for Lands and Mineral Resources. This decision was made in collaboration with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.
Dr. Taga has been acting in this capacity since October 14 and brings with her a wealth of experience from the Department of Mineral Resources, where she excelled to become the Director of Mineral Resources for a five-year tenure.
Mr. Rokovada noted that Dr. Taga is deeply committed to fostering the development of young talents and graduates, helping them achieve professional qualifications in their respective fields. He highlighted her interests in enhancing governmental processes, contributing to national development policies, and improving Fiji’s international relations.
