Dr. Raijeli Taga Takes the Helm as Permanent Secretary in Major Appointment

The Public Service Commission has officially confirmed Dr. Raijeli Taga as the new Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, a decision reached with the approval of Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. Dr. Taga has been serving in an acting capacity since October 14.

With a wealth of experience in the Department of Mineral Resources, Dr. Taga ascended through the ranks to become the Director of Mineral Resources for five years. Mr. Rokovada praised Dr. Taga for her dedication to mentoring and developing young professionals, helping them achieve qualifications in their respective fields. Her interests lie in streamlining government service delivery, policy formulation for national development, and enhancing Fiji’s international relations.
