Dr. Peggy Ravuisiro has been crowned Miss Fiji, celebrating a triumphant moment that embodies both pride and emotion. Her journey to the crown illustrates a testament to perseverance and determination, showcasing her resilience in overcoming challenges.

Following her victory, Dr. Ravuisiro emphasized that the title is far more than just a crown; it provides her with a significant platform to enhance family communication and unity. She articulated her mission to reflect resilience and tackle pressing social issues through her newfound role. “We work together and make sure to show our veilomani to each other,” she stated, highlighting the importance of connection within communities.

Dr. Ravuisiro also encouraged the youth to confront challenges with bravery, advising them to resist adopting a victim mindset. She believes that perseverance not only fosters personal growth but also empowers individuals to effect change in their surroundings. The competition saw Miss Nasinu Ailava Samuels take the first runner-up position, with Ryelle Aisea and Shrdha Mala finishing as second and third runners-up, respectively. Miss Nausori Berenadeta Waqavanua was recognized as the fourth runner-up.

Looking ahead, Dr. Ravuisiro is set to represent Fiji at the Miss South Pacific Pageant next year, promising to carry forth her mission of promoting unity, resilience, and positive change on a broader stage.
