A 37-year-old man from Lautoka is currently in police custody following an accident attributed to driving while intoxicated. In a separate incident on the same day, another 37-year-old man from Kuku, Bau, Tailevu also lost control of his vehicle while driving on Knolly Street, leading to a collision with a concrete retaining wall. Like the first driver, he was found to be under the influence of alcohol and is now receiving care at CWM Hospital.
