Dominion Brothers Clinch Thrilling Victory in U20 Sevens Rugby Finale

Dominion Brothers secured a narrow victory over PSM Aflame Bros, winning 14-12 in the men’s category of the Fiji Sports Council’s under 20 sevens rugby tournament held at Thomson Park in Navua. The match showcased the determination and skills of both teams as they fiercely competed for the trophy, culminating a day of intense rugby action.

Manasa Mata, the manager of Dominion Brothers, expressed heartfelt appreciation for the players, acknowledging their dedication and talent. He noted that the players, primarily born between 2004 and 2006, were motivated by a desire to support their families through the sport. Mata emphasized that the team was formed to nurture their skills and character, with support from officials and organizations like the Fiji Sports Council and Fiji Rugby Union.

In recognition of their triumph, Dominion Brothers walked away with a prize of $3,500. The tournament is set to continue next week with its second leg at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka, promising more exciting matches and opportunities for young athletes.
