Host city Suva emerged victorious in the Vodafone Kaji Rugby Championship, which wrapped up at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva yesterday. The capital’s teams showcased their talent by securing the Boys titles in both the Under-13 and Under-14 categories.
In the Under-13 division, Suva dominated Ovalau with a convincing 15-0 victory. The Under-14 team also demonstrated their prowess, defeating Ra with a score of 14-0.
On the girls’ side, teams from Vanua Levu claimed the championship titles in both age groups. Cakaudrove triumphed in the Under-14 Kajiana girls division with a 12-0 win over Taveuni, while Taveuni took home the Under-13 title.
The exciting three-day tournament saw participation from 17 districts competing in the Under-13 and Under-14 grades, highlighting the growing talent in youth rugby across the region.
